Located above the Ringpung Dzong, the National Museum also called as Taa Dzong was built in mid 17th century in a circular shape. There are more than 3,000 works of art and artefacts from as early as 4,000 BC to the present day. The museum has documented Bhutan’s transition from the Stone Age into the modern state of today.
